Dear Supporting Churches, Friends and Family,
Our Sunday was good.  Ray Goolesby and Mrs. Mack both led folks to the Lord during the invitation time.  The Youth were over all the services.  Jason Williams preached an excellent message from Ezekiel Chapter 34 and Norris Rodney preached on Sunday evening.  The youth led all our singing.  They are so excited that it is thrilling to us when they are over the service.
This week we have prepared for Maranatha Baptist Church from Jefferson, Georgia with a group of 26.  That is a full house for us.  Lord willing they will arrive on the island this afternoon at 2:20 on Air Tran.  Before they leave on next Saturday we have another group with Bro. Pat Lawrence coming in on Friday night and not only will the beds be full but the floor too. These groups are laying the block wall around the rest of our property.
Thursday morning Mrs. Mack had a bad fall.  Her flip flops got caught and threw her.  She had a bad lick on her right cheek, broke out two teeth again (this will be the third time the dentist has had to replace them), hit both knees, chest and has a knot on her right arm.  We have to sit on her to stop her.
Thursday noon Mr. & Mrs. Paul Muschett and Mrs. Gloria Veria (who was over children's services here in Falmouth for many years) came to visit with us.  She has given us a long list of things the government here will expect us to do in order to have a license to open the children's home.  None of them seemed bad at all for which we were glad.  Some of the things were what age group, what sex, how many, a doctor to be assigned to the home to check on the children's health, health food check for cooks, getting a waiver to bring things into the island with no charge, etc.
Pastor Shawn and Jason have been working putting on the back porch to the children's home and  Pastor Shawn and Ritchie have installed all the windows upstairs with the exception of one that was cracked and returned and two that have to be specially made due to their size.  They have the front door and the office door in and locked and this week they will continue to install the doors so we can secure the building.
Today Pastor Shawn is driving Mrs. Rodney to Fairview Bible College in the Parish of Westmoreland for a ladies conference meeting.  She is the President of the Ladies Group at Riverside.  Ray and I are preparing and cleaning the vans to pick up luggage at the airport.  We have hired a coaster because we cannot pick up luggage and 26 people.  Ms. Ollie and Ms. Katie Ann are here doing last minute things.  Katie is giving the children's home a good cleaning with the broom and mop.  Ritchie will come in this afternoon to help cook and prepare the evening meal.
Our youth group cleaned the building this morning and have set up a sugar shack to sell cold drinks, etc. to make money for their group to have a Christmas banquet this year.  That will be a first.  They have given us a long list of things they want from America.
I am closing for today with a grateful heart. Thank you for all your support, special offerings, calls, e-mails, and just for loving us,  Pastor Mack & Mrs. Mack
